Barrack Obama’s King Part 1

The Mediatorial Reign of Barrack Obama’s King Part 1

The early Church suffered ten major waves of persecution before Constantine passed the Edict of Milan in 313 making Christianity a legal religion, just a few short years after the greatest of the persecutions under Diocletian which ended 311.

But not too long after the Edict of Milan was passed Julian the Apostate came to rule. Julian had grown up under the influence of Christianity but rejected it and tried to revive the pagan religions of former times.

In 363 Julian was wounded in battle and died shortly thereafter. History has it that as Julian lay dying he grabbed a handful of his own blood, threw it in the air and shouted “Vicisti Galilaee” or “Thou hast won O Galilean!” At that moment Julian the Apostate seemed to understand something that even most Christians in our day have seemed to have forgotten: Jesus Christ is a Conquering King and He rules the nations! He would have done well to listen to the admonition of Psalm 2: “Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.”

This rule and reign is not some far off distant future thing that is going to be established when He returns; He has already taken the throne! He rules the Nations now! He sits as King right now over Barack Obama and every other “ruler” of the earth. What are they but His puppets; “The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.” Proverbs 21:1

As our country has been embroiled in the political process and many professing Christians caught up in the fear of man, Jesus Christ has been sitting on the throne of the universe quietly, sovereignly, effortlessly pulling the strings of current events and leading history along for the ultimate good of His people and the final destruction of His enemies.
