I don’t nose the answer

It was getting late and the kids were getting ready to go to bed. I had read about Noah’s Ark and was explaining the anger of God toward sin and sinners as seen in the violent destruction of the world by water. I had also discussed the kindness and grace of God in providing a way of salvation from His wrath and had related the whole story to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in order to save sinners like us.

My youngest daughter, looking very seriously at me said:

“Papa”

“Yes dear” I replied

“Did Noah have a nose?”

“Yes he did” I replied confidently. “Right on his face.”

“Papa” she said again very seriously

“Yes dear”

“Did him pick it?”

“uhhhh…………..” I replied

“I think him did” she said at last with a great deal of confidence.

How do you answer a question like that?
(Yes, this is the same daughter with the Skittle problem)

Up the nose it goes...
