Civil War

This afternoon we went to a Civil War reenactment at the Mahaffie Stagecoach House in Olathe Kansas. This was the first time I had ever seen such a thing in person and it was very impressive! What a horrible and awe filled thing it would have been to have fought in such a war.

Several times we were almost entirely engulfed in smoke from the cannon fire.
